Brooklyn-based photographer Meg Wachter has a new series called DUMPED!, wherein she pours miscellaneous oozy, drippy materials — mostly foodstuffs — onto peoples heads and snaps the reactions, framing her shirtless subjects from the shoulders up:

These folks know exactly what they’ve signed up for… but some of them, like Shira (milk + cereal) here, can’t quite keep their composure when the glop hits topside. Others, like Joel (cottage cheese), keep it cool and even mug to the camera a little:

And here are Lesley and Phillip, bedecked, respectively, with tomato paste and coffee (with cream and sugar):

These are the perfect hybrid of traditionally framed portrait photography and Nickelodeon’s You Can’t Do That On Television, with a healthy dose of cafeteria food fight thrown in the mix. And they’re beautifully shot to boot.
