Big Black Man in a Big Pink Bunny Suit: Hoppy Hours in Wisconsin?
September 27th, 2009 by Jeff Simmermon
My roommate found this flyer on a trip to Milwaukee last week. It’s just so spectacular — I have no idea where it comes from or what it means. It doesn’t even seem to be referring to a specific location. But man, I love just THINKING about what kind of a crowd this things draws. There’s nothing like the idea of a bar full of drunk furries to get the imagination going.
If anyone can shed any light on this, please let me know in the comments section.

As someone who lives in Milwaukee, I have no idea. But, I’ll ask around, and I’ll see if I can find the Tavern of the Pink Bunnies for ya.

I’m guessing it’s an ad for the Wicked Hop, and the furry is simply a visual pun. Search on “hoppy hour” milwaukee; the hours match.
Disappointing, perhaps, yet plausible.

It’s from a bar in Milwaukee called The Wicked Hop.
The picture was taken inside the bar, as well, though I have no idea what Big N’ Smooth is an advertisement for.
