More Tapeography : WAAHHH! in Red Hook

I don’t know about you all, but I spent MY last Saturday biking around Red Hook, getting selectively sunburnt and looking for weird scenes that I could make a little weirder. Mid-afternoon (after a stop for some amazing pulled pork and root beer on tap at Brooklyn Ice House), I happened upon an abandoned baby stroller between a couple of warehouses and went to work with the colored tape. Here is the result:

That stroller is nicer than my son’s. I wonder why someone abandoned it.

Awesome. I saw this on Wolcott the other day and was wondering who to thank for a good laugh. I also interpreted your piece as a subtle commentary on the changing demographics of the neighborhood. Come back and do some more!

@donflan Thanks! I followed through to your blog and read up on some of your Newfoundland adventures… and man, I hope you’re planning on having business cards printed up with “Official Member, Royal Order of Screechers”. Can’t beat that title for striking fear and wonderment into the hearts of business contacts.
